This is what kills off my intrest in almost any game using the Hero Engine. If you want to do anything other than Themepark, use Unity. This means that if you want to do a relatively simple and cheap 'Themepark' game then HeroEngine is your best bet. You essentially have to section off people from each other if you want to do an 'open world' game. It can't handle more than about 50 to 100 players in the same area without crushing your server.
